VISION Architects & Designers is a Mumbai based architectural firm focusing on Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Hospitality& Retail Interior Projects.
It is a team of highly motivated design professionals who approach each project with extensive research and thoughtful creativity from conceptualization to completion. A streamlined design process & construction management ensures a successful execution.
VISION is a multi - disciplinary architectural firm which gives turnkey solutions underone roof. It offers a comprehensive range of interior services which includes designing and executing the project of any size and complexity in totality.
We ensure that all functional needs are met while maximizing creativity and functionality.
VISION Architects & Designers works to find smart, innovative design solutions appropriate to the scale and budget of a given project. We feel that a successful architectural & interior solution is the result of an efficiency of design that translates to all aspects of a project including space planning, specified innovative materials & technical systems. Our approach is holistic, in that all design elements are thoughtfully combined into a coherent whole that solves design problems of the project sets out to address.
We also believe in the value of continuing education for all members of our team; it is an on-going goal of the office to keep up with new technologies and materials through research and studies.
Design is a creative process. The steps outlined below offer a structured format for a formal design process based on client’s require¬ments. Design process is divided in different stages.
AR. SANJAY BARDE
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
Founder Architect Sanjay Barde studied and received his Bachelor’s in Architecture degree from the Mumbai University in 1987. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an Associate Designer under the eminent Architect Hafeez Contractor for 5 years. This experience helped to develop his creative intuition and provide him with significant experience working with high-end residential clients on complex projects in Mumbai and Pune.
Since 1991 he started practicing as a consulting Architect and formed his Design firm- VISION. He has won a couple of awards, for residential school – Parmesans Yogananda Foundation at Igatpuri and a five star hotel at Chinchwad for Pride Group, Pune.
He had been a visiting professor in St. Francis College of Design & visits many institutes in Mumbai as design jury.
With over 35 years in the design profession, Ar. Sanjay has cultivated his design firm to reflect the vision of which he is theprincipal Architect and creator. His business sense combined with his creativity is driven to push the boundaries.
Since then VISION has worked on many consultancy projects and from the year 1999 his independent practice as a consulting Architect gradually expanded to corporate and residential turnkey projects. He has worked many interior projects & has portfolio consist of Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Retail Projects.
His Dental clinic designs have been recognized by the medical fraternity space line Dental Studio & Dental Lounge has won Pan India Best Clinic Design awards.
Ar. Sanjay is an avid traveller, having visited over 30 countries. Each trip he takes usually ties into an upcoming project or the need for additional research on a specific era or style. Traveling also allows him to step outside the box and view the entire Interior and Architecture industry as a bigger entity. He attributes his rich understanding of Culture and Design to his many travels in Europe.
AR. SHWETA BARDE
DESIGN DIRECTOR
Growing up in the design industry with her father and mentor Ar. Sanjay Barde,Ar. Shwetahas been fascinated by the Design profession since her childhood. Shwetareceived her Bachelor’s in Architecture degree from Pillai College of Architecture Mumbai University in 2018, during which she gained an in-depth knowledge of building, construction space planning and other design concepts.
She is associated with the Design Team of VISION Architects & Designers and has worked on the concepts and architectural details of design.
She formally sharpened her skills in interior architecture at University of California Los Angeles while pursuing her Master’s in Interior Architecture Degree. She gained her practical experience while working under a Polish designer during her internship at MalgosiaMigdal Design Beverly Hills, California. After graduating from UCLA in May 2020, currently she is working as a Junior Designer in a multi-disciplinary design firm in Malibu, California where she intends to understand and explore the American work and Design culture.
Ar. Sanjay and Ar. Shweta together plan to take VISION to next generation as Innovation where their combined style will work towards the exploration of mixing classic lines with modern elements, creating welcoming spaces that are inspired and timeless in nature.
